Meet Stephanie

Welcome to ChalkSouthernToMe! I am so excited that you decided to stop by - I hope to share with each of you the adventures that are on the horizon with my handsome husband, the many moments spent with family and friends that fill my heart with such happiness, and the joy that comes with living in the South - fashion, food, favorite places, and much more.

Just a little bit about me...

ONE: I grew up in a small town in North Carolina...Pinehurst is tucked away amongst a sea of pine trees and is the home of some of the world's greatest golf courses. Bobby Jones said, "There's something about Pinehurst that tops even the position which it naturally occupies as the St. Andrews of American golf. And that is the people you find there, play golf with, and exchange reminiscences with...who always make you feel happily at home."

TWO: September 20, 2014, the day that I married my husband, was the best day of my life. Being surrounded by our wonderful families and dearest friends as we begin our lifelong journey together was a moment in time that I will hold close to my heart forever.

THREE: I graduated from NC State University in Raleigh, NC. But when I was a little girl, you would have found me {only} wearing Carolina Blue and cheering loud for UNC-Chapel Hill. I am so glad that I made the decision to trade in the Carolina Blue for Wolfpack Red because this is where I met my husband and some of the greatest friends. 

FOUR: I have a passion for athletics. I played volleyball, soccer and basketball for 12 years and you can still find me playing volleyball and soccer with our community leagues in the area. Throughout the year, you will also find me lacing up my running shoes and training for the upcoming half-marathon with my sister.

FIVE: We have two dogs, Tenley and Bo, that we love and adore. They bring us so much joy each and every day.
